Today was the last day to work on board games, and I'm happy to say that out of 30 groups, 16 are finished and will be donated. The others will be awesome examples for students next year. Overall, I am so proud of everyone for working so hard and working so well within their groups. It's definitely not easy to create something with a bunch of other people, and students impressed me with this important life skill.
Next week, we will not be switching classes, so no more science/social studies. We will be staying in homeroom for the end-of-the-year activities. Below is the schedule:
Monday- Field Day & 4th grade visit
Tuesday- yearbook signing, citizenship vote, picnic lunch with Menchies, & games/movies in homeroom
Wednesday- games/movies in homeroom, graduation practice, & 5th grade "Hawaiian Luau" dance
Thursday- Graduation, parade, reception with breakfast and photo booth, & early check out for 5th grade pool party!
